From a young age, Maniya's love for lip cosmetics sparked a passion that would later blossom into a thriving beauty brand. Inspired by her older sisters’ traveling makeup business, Kiss & Makeup, Maniya set out to create something uniquely her own—combining quality, affordability, and a deep love for all things beauty.

In 2017, during her freshman year at college, Maniya launched Vanaé Cosmetics, starting with a collection of long-lasting matte liquid lipsticks and lip glosses. What began as a college passion project has since grown into a vibrant beauty brand with a loyal following and an ever-expanding product line.

A proud native of Cambridge, Maryland, Maniya is a graduate of both Bowie State University and Morgan State University. She is also a devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Beyond the world of beauty, Maniya is a full-time school social worker, dedicated to supporting adolescents and leading a girl empowerment group called I'm Just a Girl. Whether through her business, education, or mentorship, Maniya is passionate about uplifting others and redefining beauty from the inside out.
